Perla Nunag Funkhouser

January 5th, 1953 - December 2nd, 2024

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Perla was my mother. When you’re born, you’re birthed by one mother. You don’t get to choose your mother, and not everyone is born to a good mother. I had a great mom, and for that I’m grateful.

She lived a full life.

Though we wish she could've stayed here with us, she lived a full life. She was a happy person, and she liked to make those around her happy.

A Life Worth Celebrating

This website is meant to celebrate the life of Perla Nunag Funkhouser. She was a special person, that was very generous to her family and friends. There are people that will steal from their own family if the opportunity arises. She wasn't one of those people. She's the type of person to help when the opportunity rises. She's the type of person the world always needs. She was a good and honest person and worthy of respect. She was just one of those people that always had a lot of love in her heart for people and because of that, I'd argue that she lived her life well, and her life is a life worth celebrating.
